TURKEY DRIVE TO GET “100 BIRD-BOOST”
JUST PIZZA delivers just in time for Thanksgiving

WHAT: Three weeks to Thanksgiving and the Buffalo City Mission needs turkeys! On Thursday, they will receive some help from a pretty unusual source: a local pizzeria. Just Pizza Inc. VP of Marketing & Franchise Development Mark D. Campanella and staff will pull-up to the Mission’s Men’s Community Center in the pizza van and unload 100, 12 pound turkeys to benefit the area’s poor and homeless individuals this holiday season. The turkeys are desperately needed for the Mission’s Thanksgiving Turkey Express and community meal which are just weeks away. Please help us get the word out!
Thursday’s donation represents the second consecutive year Just Pizza Founder Rudy Alloy Jr. will donate turkeys to the Buffalo City Mission. “Providing for the less fortunate in our community is a top priority for me and the staff at Just Pizza. My hope is that this donation inspires others who can provide to do so, said Alloy.”

The Buffalo City Mission, founded in 1917, is a not-for-profit organization that provides preventative, emergency and long-term recovery services to thousands of people who are homeless or impoverished. Just Pizza Lends a Hand in Saving Western New York lives
BUFFALO, NY - Throughout the month of August, Just Pizza will be hosting Upstate New York Transplant Services' (UNYTS) Donate Life Express bloodmobile in parking lots across Western New York. The community is encouraged to stop out and donate blood that will go to help the many patients in need at our local hospitals.
Since beginning collections in June 2007, UNYTS has already become the primary supplier of blood products for the six hospitals in Niagara and Wyoming Counties, and for the entire Kaleida Health System. During summer months two things often happen with regard to those in need of blood and those who donate it. With schedules changing, donation rates during summer often decrease while need remains constant or even increases as more active summer schedules can lead to unexpected accidents. Our local hospitals need to maintain an adequate supply of blood for emergency situations and it is up to UNYTS' Community Blood Service and the generosity of our donors to help provide safe levels ofblood inventory.
Those who present to donate at any of the above mentioned drives will receive a coupon for a free slice of pizza compliments of Just Pizza. By giving blood with Upstate New York Transplant Services you are making sure your family, friends, neighbors and other members of the community have blood available when they need it. Just Pizza Charity Golf Outing
THANK YOU WNY FOR MAKIING OUR INAUGARAL EVENT A SUCCESS
The Just Pizza, Inc. Charity Fund is proud to present the following funds from the proceeds of the Inaugural Just Pizza Charity Golf Tournament which was held this past September. The amount of $12,000.00 was raised and will be presented to the following three organizations through the community foundation of greater buffalo:
- $4,000.00 to the Women's & Children's Hospital of Buffalo / neo-natal care unit on behalf of Rudolph Alloy Jr. & Leonardo M. Falzone;
- $4,000.00 to Sisters of Charity Hospital / neo-natal care unit on behalf of Ryan Alloy Jr.;
- and $4,000.00 to Upstate New York Transplant Services on behalf of Joseph Luzio.
The presentations will be made on WKBW-TV's AM Buffalo program on Wednesday December 9th, 2009 @ 10:00 am. Thank you WNY for making this possible! |
